Recently, Motorola announced two new smartphones targeted towards people who wish to buy a good, reliable smartphone at a price of under 10,000 rupees. The Moto C and C Plus are sure to turn some heads in the Indian smartphone market.

The Moto C, as well as the C Plus, will feature an average sized 5-inch display. However, the sharpness and resolution on both the devices will vary a little. While the C will be featuring an 854 x 480-pixel screen, the C Plus will feature a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution.
Processor and OS
Both the smartphones will be featuring a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processors. Motorola devices are amongst the first ones to receive an Android update. Also, Motorola has made sure that the devices that they launch usually have the latest version of Android pre-installed. Both Moto C and C Plus are set to run on the latest Android version, 7.0 Nougat.
These smartphones will not be made for a gaming usage. However, they will serve as the perfect backup phone for a person who has an iPhone or a high price segment smartphone. This phone will be a good for day to day usage for people who wish to make calls and use basic internet based applications.
Storage and RAM
The C Plus will have a slightly better specification regarding RAM and battery life. While the C will feature 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, the C Plus will be featuring a 16 GB of storage with 2 GB of RAM.
Multi-tasking will be nearly impossible on the Moto C. However, the C Plus might be able to hand four to five different applications at a time.
Both the C and C Plus will be featuring a 2-megapixel camera on the front. The C Plus will be sporting a slightly better 8-megapixel camera on the rear compared to the Moto C which will have a 5-megapixel camera on the rear.
It is evident from the camera specifications that this smartphone is not the one for you if you love to take a lot of high-resolution images and videos.
Battery and Connectivity
The best part about the C Plus is that it will be featuring a 4000 mAh removable battery. This will allow the user to go at least two and a half days without running out of juice. The Moto C will feature a smaller battery of 2350 mAh.
Both the smartphones will most likely feature a single sim tray along with a dedicated slot for microSD card slot for memory expansion. The prices of the smartphones have not been released yet.
